The ARROWS law firm is representing a client in a labor dispute that arose in connection with repeated reports of misconduct in the workplace under Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers (so-called whistleblowing).
The client clearly opposed long-term bullying in the workplace, to which the employer responded by authoritatively transferring her to another place of work.
The transfer was challenged by the client through our office as a retaliatory measure. The court subsequently issued a preliminary injunction temporarily prohibiting the transfer to another workplace, and proceedings are now underway to assess whether there has been a violation of the whistleblower protection law.
The legal team is led by Mgr. Jakub Oliva, LL.M., MSc., head of the Olomouc branch and an expert in labor law specializing in labor disputes, protection against bullying, and retaliatory measures. Mgr. Oliver Uraz, LL.M., a specialist in litigation and procedural strategy, and Mgr. Vendula Růžková, LL.M., MBA, who, in addition to family law, also focuses on whistleblowing and whistleblower protection, are also involved in the case.
This is a very sensitive case that requires both detailed knowledge of labor law and a human approach, as well as the ability to protect the client's rights in a highly exposed situation. The professional work of the entire team contributed to the immediate judicial protection of the client and created space for further legal defense.
