Mgr. MUDr. Veronika Králíková, an expert consultant at ARROWS, has successfully defended her doctoral thesis and earned the title Ph.D.

ARROWS expert consultant and physician Mgr. MUDr. Veronika Králíková has successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Spatial Contexts of Suicide: Geoinformatics Analysis as a Tool for Forensic Interpretation of Suicidality in the Olomouc and Zlín Regions in 2018–2022” and has earned the title Ph.D. This important academic milestone confirms her high level of expertise and the interdisciplinary reach that is exceptionally valuable in the field of healthcare and medical law.

The dissertation focuses on the spatial contexts of suicidality in the Olomouc and Zlín Regions and connects insights from forensic medicine and geoinformatics. It demonstrates that geoinformatics analysis can be a beneficial tool not only for forensic interpretation but also for prevention. At the same time, it contributes to a more accurate understanding of the regional and epidemiological contexts of this serious phenomenon.
